Skid integration
Routing of the CAPCO2 package into an existing ferry — footprint, weight, stability and access considerations.
Onboard CO₂ capture pilot · intra-EU ferry
Pilot installation of the willbö CAPCO2 skid on a working intra-EU ferry — onboard amine-based capture of exhaust CO₂ from the main engines, with offloading in port into a shared receiving infrastructure. Bridges our Bureau Veritas AiP to a real-world deployment.
Routing of the CAPCO2 package into an existing ferry — footprint, weight, stability and access considerations.
Tapping post-SCR / post-scrubber, pressure-drop budget and back-pressure impact on the main engines.
Onboard refrigerated CO₂ storage, bunkering-style offload line and port-side reception interface.
Business case linking capture rate to EU-ETS and FuelEU Maritime exposure — the real reason the project pays.
Contenido técnico
CAPCO2 already carries a Bureau Veritas Approval in Principle. The ferry pilot is the step that turns it into a deployed, measured, commercial unit — and it is also the spiritual twin of TECHCO2: this is the vessel; TECHCO2 builds the trazability and logistics layer on top.
Visuals
